WHO WE ARE

OUR MISSION
7th Generation Jiu-jitsu is a progressive martial arts school that is committed to making Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and fitness classes available to all no matter what your socio-economic background. Our mission is to offer first rate Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes to all who are interested in learning the most effective self-defense system in the martial arts. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu promotes the idea that the smaller weaker person can successfully defend himself or herself against a bigger stronger opponent. Students who train Jiu-Jitsu develop strong self-defense skills in addition to better coordination, mobility, strength, and endurance. We offer beginner and advances technique to kids ages 12 to 17. We teach a combination of self-defense and sports jiu-jitsu.

While most martial arts schools charge exaggerated prices many families simply cannot afford. We believe the beautiful art of Brazilian Ju-Jitsu should be available to all who wish to train without creating a financial strain on families and practitioners. We are doing our part by keeping our monthly dues low. We also offer free self-defense seminars for students, women, and our youth. We work every day to create a positive and welcoming environment to all who wish to train without the drama or the egos. Whether you are looking to gain self-defense skills, lose a little weight, or compete at the highest-level 7th Generation Jiu-Jitsu is the place for you.
OUR VISION
The 7th Generation philosophy is rooted in the Native American belief that we should all do our part to protect the Earth and make life a little better for the generations to come, even unto the 7th generation. We train not only to become better at Jiu-Jitsu but also to become people. Come and join our BJJ community as we do our part to improve the physical, social, and cultural well being for the next 7 Generations. OSS!
Our team logo is representation of the sacred four directions, the four seasons, and the four stages of life. The four directional design also signifies balance and peace and the connection of human beings to the life force than binds together all of creation. The Tomahawks do not represent war, but rather self-defense and the protection of our families, communities, and all things sacred.
